One of best self help books over the past few years

Jeff Johnson transformed from a upstart National Youth Director for the NAACP to become one of the most well-known and respected leaders of this generation. In this book Jeff does an excellent job challenging people how to overcome their biggest nemesis. THEMSELVES! Johnson doesn't give hyperbole, but rather provides readers with learning lessons from his own experiences and shares with them how they can re-examine and improve themselves.

Johnson's book is inspirational, challenging, and refreshing. It is one of the very few self-help books over the last several years that offers something new to the genre.

Jeff Johnson's debut title is both transparent, provocative & necessary no matter your age or stage in life. It offers practical advice on how to discover & then live your personal best life.

In a raw and honest way, Jeff lends his voice to the experiences in life we all have gone through or know someone who has. As we face a nation of ecomonic hardship people are having to reexamine & redefine what they want in life, who they are and who they are not and walk into new roles & review current roles. Jeff offers real, practical steps. For a first-time author he has the hiccups at times in structure but overall this book can help you or a friend.

Grab yourself a copy & a copy for a friend or dstranger. Take notes, it will help you throughout your life journey to reaching your personal best. It did for me! And that's the truth.

It was a pleasure

Just met Jeff Johnson walking into the CNN Building in Atlanta. Had a brief talk with him and decided to pick the book up. He's a very knowledgeable inspiring brother. Well spoken and humble. It was a pleasure to meet him up close & personal. I decided to read the first few pages walking back to where I parked and I am thoroughly impressed with the book. As a fellow reader who delves into Non-Fiction / Inspirational / Self help type books. I'm quite sure I can learn some things from Jeff's writings. My short personal interaction with him along with seeing how he conducts himself on camera and around ATL definitely prompted me to pick it up. So far, not disappointed..

I love this book. My mom used to read it to me when I was small, and it has always been one of my favorites. I lost my original book many years ago but now that I am an aunt I have searched high and low to relocate it as a gift for my nephew. The short stories in the book are touching as well as humorous and have a way of gripping readers both young and old!!

A Swift and Wholly Entertaining Read.

I was shocked by how funny this story actually was. I was expecting some crazy erotica and there were some crazy erotica scenes but this story was such a teardown of celebrity culture. I can see this as an awesome video series with these acted out in real life. I've read all of Anastasia Angelique's stories and this one was the most graphic and it was very over the top and hilarious. It was a little more than I'd like to pay for a short story but worth every penny many times over.

Screwball comedy is dead. At least it was after motion pictures became colored, and more and more expensive, filled with action and meaningless special effects.
"When Harry Met Sally...", however, marks the rebirth of that genre long forgotten. And just like Rob Reiner's 1989 film, Nora Ephron's screenplay transports the charm, the wit and likeability of characters that are not heroic stereotypes or unreal personalities, but everyday people with everyday problems, striving for a not so everyday happy-ending.
Featuring the hilarious fake-orgasm scene that easily found its place in movie history, and one of the most touching declarations of love ever written, "When Harry Met Sally..." is a modern classic, a must-read for future screenwriters and playwrights, just as well as for everyone with a sense of humor and a romantic core.

About the Author

Simon Egenfeldt-Nielsen is CEO of the award-winning company Serious Games Interactive and has worked as an assistant professor at the Center for Computer Games Research at the IT University of Copenhagen.

Jonas Heide Smith is head of digital communication at SMK. He has previously taught computer-mediated communication at the University of Copenhagen, the Copenhagen Business School, the IT University of Copenhagen, and Roskilde University.

Susana Pajares Tosca is an associate professor at the IT University of Copenhagen and is a founding editor of the journal Game Studies.

David Joselit is Distinguished Professor in the Art History Department of the CUNY Graduate Center and the author of "Infinite Regress: Marcel Duchamp 1910-1941" (MIT Press, 1998) and "American Art Since 1945."

Lynne Cooke has been Curator at Dia Art Foundation since 1991. An art historian and critic, she has published extensively on contemporary art and taught in various institutions. Karen Kelly is Director of Publications at Dia Art Foundation, where she has edited numerous books on contemporary art.

John Kelsey is a journalist, editor, and a writer who specializes in woodworking and woodturning. The author of several woodworkng books, he is a former editor-in-chief for Fine Woodworking magazine and the former editorial director for Fox Chapel Publishing, and is the author of several woodworking books.
